Keith & Kathryn O’Neill’s ’55 Nomad

Keith shares that he has loved the Nomad since he was a kid and would see them at car shows with his Mom and Dad. He wasn’t sure if he would ever own one of his own.

“My 55 Nomad is named Sunny and was a complete frame up restoration completed in 2004 in Oregon and purchased by a friend’s dad at the Jackson Barrett Auction in Scottsdale AZ in 2005.”

“My friend inherited the Nomad in 2014 and the car was put in storage until I purchased the car In 2018.”

“My wife (Kathryn) and two girls, Ellie – 9 and Ashley – 7 love cruising Sunny whenever the weather is nice.”

Sunny has the following updates:
– Ford 9” rear end with 370 gears
– 700 r4 transmission
– 2” drop spindles
– front disc breaks
– 300hp 350 crate motor
– Dakota Digital gauges
– tinted glass all around
– Vintage Air
